Kangaroos are awesome animals. The females have little pouches to put their babies in. If a mama kangaroo is being chased by wild animals she will drop her baby out of her pouch. This will let the mama kangaroo run faster. If she survives, then she will come back for her baby. This might seem like the mother doesn't care about her baby but it's actually a source of love. If there is a wild fire than she will drop her baby in a safe place and go run to alert the whole kangaroo pack. When all of the kangaroos in the pack follow the mother she will go to the baby so she can take the baby along the plains to find a shelter to stay by for the rest of the wild fire.
