How to attract animals into your backyard:
Raccoons: If you have a cat and want to attract a Raccoon or Raccoons than leave the leftover cat food out overnight. You will immediately get Raccoons in your backyard every night. They will think that the cat food will be there every night and check just to make sure every night.
Possums: Provide a possum feeding station, which can be as simple as a couple bowls on the ground. Omnivorous possums appreciate meaty treats such as kibble as well as fruits and vegetables. Don't put down human food, especially junk food. Possums may well love such food, but it is not good for them.
